Recommended Recipe: Strawberry Jam with Pectin Amidata
Ingredients:
- 500g fresh strawberries, washed and cut into pieces
- 400g sugar
- 5g of FlavorPure Amidated Pectin
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the starch pectin with half the sugar. This will help prevent lumps in the jam.
- In a saucepan, combine the strawberries and the rest of the sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring gently.
- Once the strawberries have softened and released their juices, add the pectin and sugar mixture. Stir well to make sure it is evenly distributed.
- Cook the jam over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it reaches the desired consistency. This will usually take about 20-25 minutes.
